Em Paris, com o slogan: “Corra que o velho mundo está atrás de você”, tentamos mudar o mundo.

Paris, marchando de boina vermelha e bandeira preta do anarquismo a empunhar, lá ia eu, nos meus 20 anos, nos protestos realizados no Quartier Latin rumo ao amanhã. Como estudante, mesmo sabendo que os estrangeiros participantes das manifestações estavam sendo expulsos da França, não me importava, a causa era maior. Éramos todos muito jovens, insubordinados, insensatos e idealistas.
Foi uma rebelião sem bombas, pela mudança de mentalidade que se pregava: “Corra que o velho mundo está atrás de você”. Uma revolução na qual o líderestudantil Daniel Cohn-Bendit, conhecido como Dany le Rouge, mais tarde, como deputado na União Europeia, Dany le Vert, suscitou simplesmente o direito dos estudantes dormirem nas instalações de suas namoradas, cuja insatisfação foi uma vertente que eclodiu em diversas
áreas. Era uma questão de gênero que florescia diante dos olhos do mundo. Momento que se gritava a liberdade sexual face ao advento da pílula, quando as feministas rasgavam sutiãs e rejeitavam os valores patriarcais. “Peça o impossível e obterás” era também o slogan a invadir o Rive Gauche e a finalizar les jours de
gloire de Gaulle.

E os ventos da rebeldia sopraram mundo a fora. O enfrentamento da juventude Francesa fez escola. Época em que os Beatles cantavam Revolution, música cuja letra dizia: “Quando você fala sobre destruição, não conte comigo.”

Guerra do Vietnã e o assassinato de Martin Luther King que legou para história sua célere frase “Eu tenho um sonho”. Ano que o comunismo começou a ruir com a Primavera de praga, ponto de partida para a queda do Muro de Berlim e véspera da Revolução dos Cravos, em que o salazarismo já agonizava.

NO BRASIL
Por aqui, 1968 foi o ano de chumbo, cujo estopim foi o assassinato do estudante Edson Luiz no restaurante Calabouço. A data que marcou a famigerada promulgação do Ato Institucional 5 (AI). Este também foi o momento dos festivais da canção, quando Geraldo Vandré cantava “Para não dizer que não falei das Flores” e Caetano e os Mutantes deixavam o recado em “É proibido Proibir”. Hoje , passados 50 anos, fica a nostalgia de um sonho que comandou tantas revoluções.
