Polícia Federal passa ai investigar divulgação de mensagens que propagam ódio ou aversão às mulheres pela internet.

A partir desta quarta-feira (4/3), a Polícia Federal (PF) será a responsável por investigar crimes virtuais contra as mulheres. Publicada nesta terça no Diário Oficial da União, a Lei 13.642/2018 altera a 10.446/2002, que trata sobre as infrações penais de repercussão interestadual ou internacional que exigem repressão uniforme.

A proposta do projeto, de autoria da deputada Luizianne Lins (PT-CE), foi aprovada em dezembro do ano passado. Nesse caso, a PF, hoje ligada ao Ministério Extraordinário da Segurança Pública, assume as investigações, com apoio dos órgãos de segurança pública locais. A nova Lei tem o objetivo de coibir a ocorrência de casos de ataques e ameaças online às mulheres.

A publicação estabelece que a PF também vai investigar quaisquer crimes praticados por meio da rede mundial de computadores que difundam conteúdo misógino, definidos como aqueles que propagam o ódio ou a aversão às mulheres.
