Oprah Winfrey,  primeira mulher negra a ganhar Globo de Ouro Honorário, em seu discurso falou sobre a força das mulheres, assédio sexual e racismo

Atriz, apresentadora, produtora e dona de emissora, Oprah tornou-se a primeira mulher negra a receber o prêmio Cecil B. DeMille, entregue anualmente durante a cerimônia do Globo de Ouro. O troféu celebra o conjunto da obra de artistas que tiveram “incrível impacto no mundo do entretenimento.

Ovacionada ao receber o prêmio, entregue por Reese Witherspoon no último domingo (7) em Los Angeles, em seu discurso, ela falou sobre a potencial inspiração que a homenagem pode trazer a jovens espectadoras, destacou a trajetória das ativistas negras Recy Taylor (1919-2017) e Rosa Parks (1913-2005) e manifestou apoio ao Time’s Up, movimento de mulheres contra o assédio sexual na indústria do entretenimento e em outras profissões.
