Patricia, Zahreen, Jamille, Maria, Jamila e Marcela são mulheres Cariocas que adotaram o islamismo como religião e passaram a usar o Hijab, tradicional véu que cobre os cabelos das mulheres muçulmanas. O filme dialoga com essas mulheres e mostra a conseqüências dessa opção religiosa na relação com suas famílias, na escola no trabalho, num momento em que o preconceito contra os muçulmanos e crescente.
