Para tentar conter a alta nos gastos públicos está sendo discutida uma nova proposta de reforma da Previdência Social. A equipe econômica do governo quer unificar as regras de aposentadoria para homens e mulheres e fixar uma idade mínima para o requerimento do benefício. As informações são do jornal O Globo.
De acordo com a legislação atual, mulheres se aposentam aos 60 e homens aos 65 anos, sendo que a pessoa tenha contribuído, no mínimo, durante 15 anos. Caso seja por tempo de contribuição, as mulheres se aposentam com 30 e os homens com 35 anos de contribuição.
O governo vai propor a mudança na reforma da Previdência após o término do Fórum, e propor que ela entre em vigar em 10 anos, para tentar vencer a resistência das centrais sindicais, e garantir que aqueles que estão próximos de se aposentar não sejam prejudicados.
Em 2016, o rombo da Previdência caminha para R$ 130 bilhões. Na Europa, o fim da diferença na idade não é novidade, já que muitos países tiveram que mudá-la para encarar a crise.
