Cultura Cigana

O Ministério da Cultura (MinC), em parceria com a Secretaria de Políticas de Promoção da Igualdade Racial da Presidência da República (SEPPIR/PR), acaba de lançar a 3ª edição do Prêmio Cultura Ciganas, que reconhecerá e estimulará ações de pessoas físicas ou jurídicas sem fins lucrativos voltadas à preservação e proteção das culturas dos povos ciganos do Brasil. O edital do prêmio foi publicado no Diário Oficial da União desta quinta-feira. As inscrições podem ser feitas até o dia 12 de outubro.

Serão concedidos 60 prêmios de R$ 14.285,72. Destes, serão 15 para pessoas físicas ciganas, 35 para grupos e comunidades ciganas sem constituição jurídica e 10 para instituições privadas sem fins lucrativos integradas por indivíduos pertencentes a qualquer etnia cigana e reconhecidas por sua contribuição social e cultural à cultura cigana. No total, serão investidos na ação o montante de R$ 857.107,20, derivados do Programa 2027 – Preservação, Promoção e Acesso à Cultura, da Administração Direta.

Poderão participar do prêmio iniciativas realizadas nas seguintes áreas: celebrações e festas; músicas, cantos e danças; línguas dos povos ciganos; narrativas simbólicas, histórias e outras narrativas orais; educação e processos próprios de transmissão de conhecimentos; medicina tradicional; manejo, plantio e coleta de recursos naturais; culinária; jogos e brincadeiras; arte, produção material, artesanato, vestuário e joalheria; pinturas, desenhos, grafismos e outras formas de expressão simbólica; formas de habitação tradicionais; documentação, registro, mapeamento e memória; textos escritos; teatro e histórias encenadas; audiovisual, CDs, cinema, vídeos, sites e outros meios eletrônicos e de comunicação; e outras formas de expressão próprias da cultura cigana.

As inscrições para o prêmio devem ser feitas por via postal (com entrega rápida ou aviso de recebimento), com o envio da ficha de inscrição e anexos previstos no edital para o endereço:
