Lei inglesa levanta ficha corrida de companheiros agressores

A delegada titular da Delegacia da Mulher 2, localizada no Conjunto Salvador Lyra, em Maceió, Maria Tereza Ramos, comemorou a decisão da Inglaterra em criar uma lei que vai permitir que as mulheres tenham acesso à ficha corrida dos namorados ou companheiros para saber se têm histórico de agressão ou violência.

A Lei Clare, como foi batizada, entra em vigor em março de 2014 e vai valer também no País de Gales. Para a delegada, se o Brasil seguir o exemplo, a mulher só tem a ganhar.Para saber sobre a vida do parceiro, a mulher precisa recorrer a um comissariado de polícia ou outras instituições, como o serviço que monitora a liberdade condicional dos réus. As autoridades fornecem os dados em detalhes e se houver necessidade as vítimas recebem ajuda.

A iniciativa é fruto da pressão feita em uma campanha liderada pelos pais de Clare Wood, uma inglesa de 36 anos, que foi morta por estrangulamento em fevereiro de 2009 por seu ex-namorado, na cidade de Salford. Segundo a família, o casal se conheceu por uma rede social e a mulher não sabia que o namorado, George Appleton, já possuía um histórico de violência contra mulheres.A ideia foi implantada em 2012 como projeto piloto nas regiões de Manchester, Wiltshire, Nottinghamshire e Gwent, mas agora será estendida. Segundo informações da BBC, 1,2 milhão de mulheres daqueles países afirmam ter sido vítima de violência doméstica, contra 800 mil homens. Em três anos, houve um aumento de quase 10% nos casos.

EM ALAGOAS

O número da violência contra a mulher em Alagoas é assustador. Segundo informações da delegada Maria Tereza Ramos, apenas na Delegacia da Mulher 2, localizada no Conjunto Salvador Lyra, são registrados 180 Boletins de Ocorrência por mês, embora nem todos se convertam em inquérito.A delegada disse ainda que a lei Clare é importante porque a mulher entra na relação sabendo do histórico de violência do companheiro. “A Lei vem e boa hora. Se o Brasil adotar, a mulher só tem a ganhar”, afirmou Maria Tereza ao acrescentar que houve grande avanço já que a mulher não fica mais em casa. Antes, apanhava e ficava com vergonha de denunciar. Hoje, faz defesa de seus direitos.

DADOS ALARMANTES

Conforme o Mapa da Violência de 2012, Alagoas ocupa a 2ª posição no ranking nacional, com taxa de 8,3 homicídios femininos, por cem mil mulheres. Entre as capitais, Maceió ocupa a 3ª posição com taxa de 11,9. No Estado, 38,47% dos casos de violência tiveram os ex-companheiros como autores. É o típico caso previsto na Lei Maria da Penha, quando a vítima é do sexo feminino e há uma relação de afeto ou parentesco entre autor e vítima.
