Brasileira de 16 anos será tema de filme sobre mulheres que sonham com F-1

Bruna Tomaselli tem 16 anos e uma série de dúvidas comuns para meninas dessa idade. Aluna do ensino médio em Florianópolis, ela ainda não sabe se vai fazer vestibular para direito ou jornalismo. A vida de Bruna Tomaselli, porém, não tem nada de comum. Ela vive longe dos pais, tem rotina de atleta profissional e um estafe próprio. Tudo em nome de um projeto para chegar à Fórmula 1 daqui a sete anos.

Em 2014, a piloto catarinense será uma das personagens de um documentário inglês sobre mulheres que podem atingir a principal categoria do automobilismo mundial.

O documentário está sendo feito por Bruno Centofanti, brasileiro radicado em Londres. A proposta da obra é mostrar a rotina e o perfil de uma série de mulheres que sonham com um posto entre os pilotos da Fórmula 1. No Brasil, Bruna Tomaselli será a única personagem.

Bruna participa de corridas desde os sete anos de idade, e em 2013 se tornou a primeira menina da Fórmula Júnior, categoria de formação baseada no Rio Grande do Sul.”Ela sempre demonstrou interesse e gosto pelo automobilismo. Percebemos que ela ficava vendo a Fórmula 1 pela TV e ficava vidrada. Ela nunca foi de brincar de carrinho, mas desde cedo mostrava um gosto muito grande pelo assunto. Quando ela tinha seis anos, fomos ver uma corrida de kart em São Miguel do Oeste e percebemos o quanto ela gostou daquilo. Compramos um kart para ela começar como brincadeira, e aí a coisa foi crescendo”, relatou VânioTomaselli, pai da piloto.

Na “brincadeira”, Bruna começou a mostrar que era competitiva. Ela venceu o Campeonato Gaúcho de kart em 2009, mas a evolução da piloto esbarrava em um problema: Caibi não tem um kartódromo.Em 2011, Bruna mudou-se para Florianópolis. Ela foi acompanhada inicialmente pela mãe, Tatiana, mas a avó, a tia e outros parentes mais velhos ajudaram a fazer companhia para a piloto. Desde o início do ano passado, ela divide apartamento apenas com duas meninas de Caibi.

A ROTINA

A rotina já seria pesada para uma adolescente normal. No caso de Bruna, as “atribuições diárias” incluem, escola, aulas de inglês, academia, nutricionista, preparação física específica e treinos na pista, feitos de duas a três vezes por semana. Desde a mudança para Florianópolis, a piloto trabalha com a equipe JZ Racing, que nunca havia contado com uma menina antes dela.Fundada por José Nascimento, a JZ Racing tem sede no Kartódromo dos Ingleses, em Florianópolis. A equipe tem mais de 30 anos de história e estrutura familiar, fator que foi preponderante para ela ser escolhida pelos pais de Bruna.

Em 2013, Bruna estreou na Fórmula Júnior, categoria criada a partir de carros que a CBA (Confederação Brasileira de Automobilismo) doou à FGA (Federação Gaúcha de Automobilismo). A entidade regional recebeu 15 bólidos e programou oito etapas para esta temporada.

CUSTOS

Cada corrida tem um custo de R$ 7 mil para os pilotos, incluindo pneus, combustível e taxas. Os carros têm preparadores únicos para motor, amortecedores e outras peças, o que garante conjuntos iguais para todas as provas. Antes de cada evento, há um sorteio entre os pilotos para definir a distribuição dos veículos.

Bruna conseguiu um quarto lugar logo na primeira corrida. Na terceira, cravou a pole position. Ela ainda não venceu nenhuma etapa, mas esteve no pelotão da frente em quase todas e atualmente ocupa a quinta posição na classificação da temporada.”Ela tem chamado atenção. A Bruna ainda não ganhou uma corrida, mas não deve nada aos meninos”, avaliou Cláudio Fontoura, promotor da categoria. Os pilotos da Fórmula Júnior têm média de 16 anos de idade, mas a catarinense só atingiu essa faixa etária em setembro.

PROJETOS

A JZ Racing é patrocinada pela Mormaii, confecção cuja marca aparece no carro de Bruna. A empresa já disponibiliza um estafe com nutricionista e preparador físico para a piloto, que em 2014 vai iniciar uma parceria individual com a companhia.

Os patrocínios são peça fundamental no plano de sete anos que a JZ Racing montou para Bruna. Entre o atual estágio e a Fórmula 1, a brasileira terá de passar por uma série de categorias do automobilismo europeu. A família, que custeou a trajetória dela até agora, não tem condições de bancar também a etapa seguinte.”O Brasil não tem hoje outra categoria que seja escola. A ideia é sair daqui e passar dois anos em categorias básicas da Europa, com carros mais desenvolvidos. Depois, dois anos de Fórmula 3. Aí, passaremos por uma categoria superior até chegar à GP2″, disse Nascimento.

Atualmente, Bruna é a única piloto da JZ Racing que tem um projeto para chegar à Fórmula 1. O plano será reavaliado daqui a quatro anos.”A ideia é não saltar categorias, como muitos pilotos têm feito por aí. Alguns pilotos bons vão para a Europa, sobem de categoria todo ano e chegam à Fórmula 1, mas precisam retroceder porque não completaram o aprendizado”, explicou Nascimento.

É esse desenvolvimento que o documentário sobre mulheres que sonham com a Fórmula 1 vai abordar. O filme está sendo desenvolvido por Bruno Centofanti, brasileiro que vive em Londres, com orçamento superior a 1 milhão de libras (R$ 3,5 milhões), e deve contar histórias de 12 candidatas à categoria nobre.

Centofanti disse que a produção do documentário ainda está em estágio confidencial. Ele deve vir ao Brasil em novembro para conhecer Bruna pessoalmente e acompanhar a última etapa da temporada da Fórmula Júnior. As gravações serão feitas em 2014.”Ela gostou da ideia, mas ainda estamos conversando com ele para saber melhor a dimensão que isso vai ter. De certa forma, isso vai nos ajudar muito a mostrar mais a imagem dela”, finalizou o dono da equipe de Bruna.
